USE OF BAYESIAN METHODS IN THE ANALYSIS OF TWO-FACTOR EXPREMENTS UNDER AN INVERSE GAUSSIAN DISTRIBUTION

§    ABSTRACT: In this paper, we present a Bayesian analysis of two-factor experiments under the inverse Gaussian distribution. We assume AN additive or no-interaction model and a noninformative prior density for the parameters of the model. We compare the proposed Bayesian methodology with the usual classical approach considering a data set also analysed by Bhattacharyya & Fries (1983).
