§    ABSTRACT: The Rural Development Offices  (RDOs) divide the state in 40 sub-areas where daily information is collected about prices and agricultural production. The objective of this paper is to analyze the efficiency of 40 RDOs in São Paulo state, as regards meat production by taking account the stochastic production frontiers models with normal error and with t-Student error using the Bayesian approach.
